Movie time - Lion.

Hi all!
If you would know me you know how obsessed I am with series and movies. I just can’t get enough of it! When I love a series or movie I get really emotionally invested in it, and if I tell you about it I will get too enthusiastic. So you will have to stop me from talking too much, or you will go crazy.
I will try to hold myself together and not give away spoilers!

Recently I came across a movie on Netflix called lion. One of the actors I recognized from the movie Slumdog millionaire. I was intrigued and started watching the movie not knowing what I was doing to my emotions with this storyline just before bedtime. Because WOW!

In the beginning of the movie we meet the young Saroo.
Honestly he stole my heart with his sweet little kid voice and adorable presence. At the start he goes through a horrible young live.. He lives in a small town in India, where the circumstances are really ruthless. He loses his brother and can’t find his way back to his home and mother.
We see child abductors, child prostitutes and a child’s home for street children. And o my goddess, how corrupt and devil related are the adults over there.
You never see some of the acts actually happen, however the scenes make you feel disgusted.

Thankfully the young Saroo gets adopted by a lovely family from Canada.

In Canada Saroo grows up to be a smart young man who wants to study. However his childhood memories have him gripped. Eventually he chose to look for his family which results in touching your heart even more. The fact that the movie was based on a true story, makes it even more heart-breaking. Becoming such a great person after all these traumatising memories is unbelievable.

By now I have seen the movie two times. Amazing movie and great actors.
It is a ‘yes’ from me!

Have I just described the whole movie so you don’t have to watch it yourself?
Yes i’m sorry, sometimes I ramble, I didn’t even know you can do that on paper.. but I guess I am the living proof of that!

However still watch the movie kids. I assure you it is definitely worth your time.
